Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a Field Superintendent and demonstrated skilled trades experience. The ideal candidates will have a proven background in commercial construction, OSHA 30 certification, operators certification(s) for basic site equipment, or equivalent industry experience.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing all aspects of the project site, including, but not limited to:
- Preconstruction Exercises - Coordination with project team, subcontractors, and client (as required)
- Project Schedule Management - Maintain 2 week look ahead and coordinate with PM, update Procore with daily reports and images.
- Project Workflow - Manage efficient workflow with subcontractors, vendors, etc.
- Project Quality Management - Maintain daily inspections of all trades and vendors
- Project Safety Management - Responsible for all PPE enforcement and ensuring a safe site
- Materials Procurement - Coordinate with PM to ensure all materials are ordered and received in a Just In Time fashion to eliminate potential damage and site bottlenecks
- Inspections - Coordinate all inspections and assist PM with any documentation during closeout
