Corporate Free Cash Flow Planning Manager/Principal

Within Amazon's Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A), we enjoy a unique vantage point into everything happening within Amazon. Our team provides strategic support to the CFO and senior leadership on enterprise-wide planning, analysis, and reporting. As the central place the entire company looks to for an understanding of financial performance, we play a major role in driving business decisions. One of Amazon's key financial focus is long-term, sustainable growth in free cash flow. As part of the Corporate Free Cash Flow (FCF) Planning team, the Finance Manager/Principal will be responsible for the production and administration of several key finance deliverables.

In this role, you will own key processes essential to the heartbeat of Amazon Finance by focusing on developing best practices for Corporate FP&A which have impact company wide. Our team manages:

• Key month-end and quarter-end processes
• Planning processes including quarterly estimates, the annual operating plan/ 3-year forecast
• Company-wide senior team goal review processes
• Ad-hoc projects for our leadership team

Key job responsibilities include:

• Leading executive level FCF related projects
• Contributing to Balance Sheet Working Capital and/or Capex forecasting, reporting, and analysis
• Performing financial analyses and providing insightful narratives related to Working Capital, Capex, and FCF
• Gathering, defining, and driving requirements for and prioritizing projects to improve reporting functionality, accuracy, and automation
• Providing ad hoc financial analysis and data support for business teams and finance leadership
• Enhancing existing forecasting models
• Building executive level presentations highlighting the quarterly financial results and related guidance ranges
• Presenting ad hoc business analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
• Consulting on company-wide forecasting activities
• Recommending and delivering improvements and providing scoping documents for system and process enhancements

This highly visible role will be responsible for the forecasting, reporting, and analysis of Amazon's Free Cash flow critical components, such as Capital Expenditures through close collaborations with business finance teams across Amazon. The Finance Manager will dive deep to gain a comprehensive understanding of the drivers of free cash flow and deliver insightful analyses and narratives to Amazon's CFO, CEO, and other executive team members. The Finance Manager drives key projects and will be a key business partner to the business finance teams, Finance Operations, Accounting, and Tax. We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is adaptable, capable of exercising high judgment, making informed decisions and insists on the highest standards.
