Financial Accounting Supervisor

Job Title

Assists in the timely and accurate production of financial statements and is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting.

Duties

Assists in the timely and accurate production of financial statements

Supervises the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting

Budgeting

Coordinate month-end activities between departments to ensure proper cut-off procedures

Preparation of financial statements

Financial analysis

Account reconciliations

Assist in tax-related activities

Participate in inventory counts

Capital project accounting

Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit by outside auditors

Prioritize responsibilities

Supervision

Will supervise two personnel

Will report to the divisional Controller which is local

Requirements

Experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Senior Financial Accountant that could supervise two accountants

This is a manufacture so ideal candidate would come out of supervision but would consider others such as banking, healthcare etc.
