The essential responsibilities for this position include:
- Solid accounting background with experience managing day-to-day financial and accounting activities.
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Knowledge and experience in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Solid experience in managing company policies and procedures.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Skilled in accounting with knowledge of processing, spreadsheets, inventory, and payroll systems.
- Work closely with the CPA to ensure accuracy on all taxes and tax returns.
- Strong understanding of customer service and ability to resolve customer concerns in a professional and positive manner.
- Perform basic Human Resources responsibilities as needed. These responsibilities are expected to require approximately 1-2 hours per week and may include general employee and HR administrative support.
- Additional HR responsibilities may be assigned based on the candidate's experience and capabilities and may result in increased compensation.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Finance, Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Excellent English, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of finance/accounting experience preferred, with an emphasis in accounting.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but candidates from other industries will be considered.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and team members is critically important.
- Strong verbal, written, and mathematical skills.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must be highly motivated and self-directed.
- Demonstrated desire to work in a dynamic customer service environment while going above and beyond to satisfy the customer.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to resolve customer grievances in a positive and empathetic manner.
- Basic Human Resources experience is a plus and may provide an opportunity for additional responsibilities and compensation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
