QualificationsTo qualify, you should have:
  • 3 years of progressive marine experienceOR5 years of comparable construction trade experience
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Cabinet making
    • Carpentry
    • Industrial insulation
    • HVAC systems
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and trade math skills
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints and mechanical drawings
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and perform accurate material takeoffs
Job Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Lay out, fabricate, and install:
    • Bulkheads
    • Doors
    • Ceilings
    • Shelving
    • Furniture
    • Consoles
    • Other interior components
  • Measure, fabricate, and install insulation and ductwork.
