Floral Delivery Driver and Plant Processor

Position Type: Part Time (During week and on weekends)

Pay Rate: $15/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible Part Time- Floral Delivery Driver and Plant Processor to take ownership of delivering flowers and assisting with store needs. You will take flowers to customers using a pre-made route and company van.   You will process flowers taking them from delivery boxes, cutting them down, and placing them into containers for storage in larger cooler.  Boxes and trash should be removed from the store and store space cleaned.

Key Responsibilities

Safe Handling & Transportation: Securing floral arrangements to prevent damage and keeping them in optimal condition (proper temperature/sunlight control) during transit.

Timely Delivery: Delivering orders within specified time windows to homes, businesses, and event venues.

Route Optimization: Use premade route to maximize, timely, and accurate deliveries.

Customer Service & Representation: Representing the shop's brand with a friendly, professional attitude during interactions.

Loading/Unloading: Carefully organizing and unloading flowers and delicate gifts.

Documentation: Verifying order details, obtaining signatures for deliveries, and managing delivery logs.

Vehicle Maintenance: Performing basic vehicle checks and keeping the delivery vehicle clean and fueled.

Processing Flowers and Plants: when finished with shift, processing flowers, cutting stems, filling water buckets, cleaning water buckets, and watering plants. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years of delivery service with clean background check and driving record


• Schedule: able to work during the week and on weekends


• Technical Skill: Some level of technology required


• Leadership: Proven ability to work under pressure during high-traffic holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day).


• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, work in varying temperatures (coolers), and lift up to 30–50 lbs.


• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Salary/Compensation: $15.00 per hour
