How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities)
- Patient Connection: Take menu selections directly at the bedside and deliver meals with a smile
- Tray Assembly: Build accurate patient food trays using our computerized ticket system
- Cafeteria Service: Set up food stations, serve customers using proper food handling, and cashier transactions
- Inventory Management: Keep stock levels perfectly filled by organizing and rotating products in daily refrigerator and unit floor spaces
- Special Events: Help set up, decorate, and cater special hospital themes and holiday events
What You Bring to the Team (Qualifications/Experience)
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred (but not required)
- Experience: Customer service or food service experience is a plus, but not required
- Language & Math: Must be able to read, write, and understand English, alongside basic computation skills for cashiering
- People Skills: A warm personality capable of connecting with patients, guests, and coworkers
- Eager to Learn: Ability to grasp general nutrition principles and special patient diet modifications within 7-10 days
