Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and supervise assigned crew members on job sites
- Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and conduct job briefings
- Enforce safety standards, including OSHA and DOT/FMCSA compliance
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and personnel for job completion
- Monitor productivity, quality, and timelines to meet project deadlines
- Perform and oversee energized and de-energized work as needed
- Ensure accurate completion of documentation (JSAs, inspections, logs, timesheets)
- Serve as the primary field contact for supervisors, clients, and inspectors
- Ensure vehicles and equipment meet DOT compliance requirements
Requirements
- Journeyman Lineman experience required
- Proven leadership and crew supervision experience
- CDL Class A required
- Strong knowledge of line construction, safety standards, and regulations
Working Conditions
- Work is performed outside in all types of weather environments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, climb, stoop, stand, and lift for long periods of time.
- Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers.
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform job duties.
