Forklift Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to work in a cold storage warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize products while maintaining accuracy and following all safety procedures in refrigerated and freezer conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely in cold storage/freezer environments
• Load and unload trucks and shipments
• Move products to designated warehouse locations
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipping
• Perform inventory checks and stock rotation
• Inspect forklifts before and after use
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas
• Work efficiently in refrigerated temperatures ranging from 0F to 40F

Requirements:

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred
• Valid forklift certification is a plus
• Ability to work in cold/freezer temperatures for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Basic warehouse and inventory knowledge
• Ability to stand, bend, and work long shifts

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in food distribution or cold storage warehouses
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Team-oriented and dependable

Working Conditions:

• Cold refrigerated and freezer warehouse environment
• Use of protective cold-weather gear required
• May require overtime, weekends, or holiday shifts
