Job Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for transporting materials throughout the facility, supporting production flow, and maintaining accurate inventory movement. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe operations, timely product handling, and efficient warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
  • Load, unload, move, and stage materials for production and shipping.
  • Perform accurate scanning, counting, and documentation of inventory.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
  • Assist warehouse and production teams as needed to meet company goals.
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum 12 years of forklift or material-handling experience.
  • Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one).
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and operate equipment for long periods.
  • Good vision, depth perception, and manual dexterity.
  • Stable work history in previous roles.
  • Must pass a drug screen.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
