This role involves operating forklifts and cherry pickers in a quiet warehouse environment to accurately pick, pack, and pull orders. You will support daily warehouse operations by safely handling materials, maintaining order accuracy, and contributing to an efficient workflow on a single daytime shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and cherry pickers safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and order pulling with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures and documentation.
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory locations to support efficient order fulfillment.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including staging, labeling, and organizing products.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Experience using cherry picker equipment for order picking.
- Demonstrated ability in order picking, order pulling, and picking and packing tasks.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail when handling orders and inventory.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Commitment to working safely and following all safety protocols.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quiet or low-noise warehouse environment.
- Comfort working independently and staying focused throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a warehouse setting.

Work Environment
You work in a quiet warehouse environment with a single shift running from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role involves regular use of forklifts and cherry picker equipment, along with standard warehouse tools and materials. You can expect a structured, routine schedule with daytime hours and a setting that supports concentration and attention to detail.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sumner, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
