Forklift Operator (Industrial/Government Facility) Hampton Roads, VA

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support operations within a secure and well-regulated facility in the Hampton Roads area. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision, accountability, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or specialty equipment) to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
  


• 
  Transport materials throughout the facility while following all established procedures and site protocols
  


• 
  Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
  


• 
  Maintain accurate inventory movement and assist with material tracking as needed
  


• 
  Support warehouse, yard, or production operations as directed by supervisors
  


• 
  Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE requirements and site-specific regulations
  


• 
  Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Prior forklift operating experience required (certification preferred or ability to obtain)
  


• 
  Ability to operate equipment in a structured, compliance-driven environment
  


• 
  Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  


• 
  Dependable work history and ability to follow established procedures consistently
  


• 
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment
