Gastroenterology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8;On Call Pay Rate: $349.20 - $378.00

This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

  • Schedule: Outpatient GI procedures for November and December. Procedure hours: approximately 8:00 AM - 3:30/4:00 PM. 24/7 call coverage on assigned dates.

  • Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient with call coverage

  • Type of cases and required procedures: Outpatient GI scopes/procedures, GI consults, inpatient gastrointestinal (GI) coverage, and gastrointestinal (GI) call coverage. Expected volume of 15-18 scopes per day and inpatient census of 2-3 GI patients.

  • Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days.

  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic.

  • Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

  • Licensure required: Active Wisconsin medical license required; facility cannot wait for licensing completion. Board Certification required.
