Benefis Health System is looking to add a Gastroenterologist to our team. We have a variety of options to accommodate interest in full-time, part-time, or per-diem work - with a choice to working in a variety of areas (one, or multiple) based on your GI desires. We have options for inpatient hospitalist, block schedule, outpatient scoping only (no call), outpatient clinic only (no call), advanced outpatient (no call) or a combination of various options, at our established not for profit practice in Great Falls, Montana. Currently, we employ traditional gastroenterologists, inpatient GI hospitalists and outpatient advanced practice providers. Applicants must be board eligible/certified in gastroenterology, IBD, or other applicable medical specialties depending on area of interest for work. The practice serves 80,000 Great Falls residents as well as 275,000 residents across north central Montana.

Endoscopy Information:

  • Brand new 22,000 SF endoscopy area with 8 suites, and 24 pre op/post op bays

  • Dedicated anesthesia services, option to flip rooms, and experienced and helpful staff of RNs and techs

  • Designed as an ambulatory surgical center and all patients are managed within the unit with occasional procedures in the OR (based on BMI)

  • High volume scoping, with opportunity to do advanced GI procedures including ERCP and EUS if interests align

Additional Details:

  • Hospital employed, flexible schedule

  • No call - all call is taken by GI Hospitalists

  • Clinic is staffed full time with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to keep physicians scoping, although there is additional opportunity for clinic only GI physician work, if desired
