Zuckerman's Dental Associates in Roslyn, NY is seeking an experienced part-time Dental Assistant. Working Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, you will assist the doctor during clinical procedures, operate dental intraoral scanners, and take digital x-rays in a modern practice setting.
# Key Duties & Software Knowledge
Your daily responsibilities include instrument sterilization, operatory setup, patient intake, and managing phone calls or appointment scheduling. Knowledge of Dentrix software and Dexis digital x-ray systems is highly preferred.
# Practice Culture & Expectations
We emphasize strong teamwork and exceptional punctuality, requiring staff to arrive 30 minutes prior to shift start. Earn $25/hr in a professional, patient-centered dental clinic.

Job Description

Clinical Assistance: Assisting the dentist during clinical procedures, operating intraoral dental scanners, taking digital x-rays, and ensuring comprehensive patient support during treatments.
Instrument Management & Hygiene: Sterilizing, cleaning, and preparing dental instruments, while maintaining strict infection control standards and a sterile clinical environment in all operatory rooms.
Administrative Support & Patient Care: Managing incoming telephone calls, scheduling and adjusting patient appointments, assisting patients upon arrival, and facilitating seamless daily office operations.
