General Laborer

We're looking for a hardworking General Laborer/fabrication shop helper to join our fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn different areas of manufacturing and fabrication. You'll support production by helping move materials, assisting machine operators and welders, and keeping the shop organized and running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Assist machine operators and welders with daily production tasks.
• Load, move, and organize raw materials throughout the shop.
• Support extrusion and production processes by loading materials and monitoring workflow.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment after training and certification.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Sweep floors, remove scrap materials, and organize work areas.
• Set up and prepare workstations as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials throughout the shift.
• Willingness to learn new skills and assist in different areas of the shop.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

• Fabrication shop with welding stations, saws, Amada machines, and material handling equipment.
• Work with raw materials and extrusions.
• Active, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Safety-focused workplace with required PPE and appropriate work attire.

Pay & Schedule

• $20-$21 per hour
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Initial training will be completed on 1st shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLATHE, KS.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
