Corewell Health Medical Group is recruiting two board-eligible or board-certified otolaryngologists to join our well-established Department of Otolaryngology in Grand Rapids, Michigan: one general otolaryngologist and one fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist. Both physicians will join a collaborative group of 13 physicians, 10 advanced practice providers, and 12 audiologists and will benefit from an established clinical infrastructure, strong referral relationships, academic affiliation, and the resources of a large integrated health system.

Opportunity 1: General Otolaryngologist

The general otolaryngologist will join Corewell Health Medical Group's Department of Otolaryngology and provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and surgical care for patients with a broad range of ear, nose, throat, and head and neck conditions. This position offers the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team, an established patient base, and a strong regional referral network.

Opportunity 2: Pediatric Otolaryngologist

Pediatric Otolaryngology Opportunity

The incoming physician will join three established pediatric otolaryngologists within a general Otolaryngology group comprising 13 physicians, 10 advanced practice providers, and 12 audiologists. The physician's departmental home and reporting structure will be within Corewell Health Medical Group's Department of Otolaryngology. Pediatric surgical cases will be performed at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, a 241-bed tertiary pediatric referral center with approximately 11,000 pediatric admissions annually.

* Established patient base and strong regional referral network

* Approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient practice

* Call averaging four weeks annually and every tenth weekend

* Clinical practice supported by advanced practice providers and audiologists

Desired Clinical Experience

* Complex pediatric otolaryngology and multidisciplinary care

* Open airway reconstruction

* Cochlear implantation

Pediatric Otolaryngology Qualifications

* MD or DO degree

* Completion of an accredited otolaryngology residency and pediatric otolaryngology fellowship

* Board eligible or board certified in otolaryngology

* Eligible for medical licensure in Michigan

* Leadership experience preferred but not required

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is a freestanding children's hospital offering broad pediatric subspecialty services and coordinated multidisciplinary care. The hospital includes a 108-bed NICU, a Level I pediatric trauma center with more than 55,000 pediatric emergency visits annually, and approximately 124,600 ambulatory visits each year.
