General Surgery Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00
This facility is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: 24-Hour On Call Monday 7AM-untill following Monday 7AM, Approximately 1 week every month
- Types of Cases:
- Standard general surgery procedures: (Cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernias robotics available)
- Acute care cases: (Bowel obstruction, perforated ulcer, volvulus, etc.)
- Trauma: (Splenectomy, bowel resection/repair, chest tubes, lines)
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90-days
- Certifications Required: Must be Board Certified in American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) within 3 years of residency, must have Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Licensure Required: Must be licensed in Utah highly preferred and those candidates will be prioritized, but will accept Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in-hand, Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
