Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill a position as a Haul Truck Operator in Ennis Texas. This position will report to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
The successful candidate for this role will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
- Operate haul trucks to move rock from the pit to the crusher and begin the crushing process.
- Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
- Effective communication skills applicable to position.
- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment required.
- Individuals must be dedicated to always operating safely.
- Dozer Experience a plus.
- Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry.
- Must be able to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment.
- Ability to complete pre-operation inspection paperwork.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
