Responsibilities As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecommunications projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you are up for the challenge. Other responsibilities will include: Operating light construction equipment, including backhoes, cable plows, trench excavators, hydraulic reel trailers, and other types of machinery, and ensuring their maintenance as needed. Diagnosing problems as they arise in the field. Reading and understanding utility locations and utility surface indicators to ensure equipment safety and a high level of productivity. Qualifications About you: Safety is part of your day to day. You have a history of completing work with a high level of quality. You have a talent for solving difficult problems and enjoy a practical approach to your work. You seek long-term projects. You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your equipment. You have experience operating heavy equipment on a construction site. Must have a driver's license and experience in the telecommunications/underground works industry.
