Shop Mechanic

Talon Recruiting has partnered with a National Trucking company. They are in search of a Shop Mechanic to join their team in San Leandro, CA.

Ideal Fit:

The ideal fit will have extensive knowledge of all areas of Heavy Trucking maintenance.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of internal combustion engines (gas and diesel)

Hands on experience maintaining and repairing trucks

Must own tool set

Willing to work overtime when needed

Strong attention to detail

Ability to multitask

Responsibilities:

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems

Perform complete repair and overhaul functions, including diagnostics and testing

Perform parts management

Maintain own tools and equipment

Compensation & Benefits:

$36-$40++/hour based on experience plus overtime and hourly bonus
