Responsibilities:

• Help patients with daily functions, such as dressing or bathing
• Household chores, such as vacuuming or laundry
• Shopping and cooking meals
• Scheduling doctor appointments or other meetings and arranging transportation
• Report to nurses on the patient's health status
• Teach patient self-care skills

Qualifications:

• Certified in New York to work as an HHA or PCA
• Valid ID
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Social Security card (No TaxID accepted)
• Happy and willing to provide care
• Ability to care for patients
• Experience in palliative care, home care, or other related fields is a plus.
• Ability to attend to minor medical issues
• Availability to work occasionally in the afternoons, on holidays, and weekends
