About the Opportunity

Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (no automatic restriction) to join our elite team fueling locomotives. This night?shift, home?daily position offers consistent full?time hours, weekly pay, and year?round stability — no seasonal slowdowns.

You’ll be paid for the entire 12?hour shift, including breaks, lunch, and dispatch wait time. Enjoy a predictable rotating schedule that gives you 60 hours most weeks.  If you’re looking for a local CDL job with purpose and stability, this is it.

Why You’ll Love This Job

• Annual Salary: $82,320 +
• Paid Weekly
• Rotating Schedule: 60 hours most weeks / 48 hours every 3rd week
• Set Night Schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
  • Combination of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Off
  • Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Home Daily
• Paid for full 12?hour shift (including wait and dispatch time)
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Manual transmission tractor with tanker (10?speed)

Job Duties

• Operate as a mobile fueling station for the railroad
• Haul and deliver fuel using a tractor?trailer tanker
• Work on an on?call basis during your shift
  • You are paid for the full shift regardless of the number of dispatches

What You Need to Bring

• CDL Class A
• Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements
• No automatic restriction (manual experience required)
• Tractor?trailer driving experience
  (Hazmat hauling experience not required)
• Ability to pass DOT physical and company background checks
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Strong communication and time?management skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb frequently
• Walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces
• Climb in and out of truck cab multiple times per shift
• Climb ladders or steps 10+ times per day
• Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
• Comfortable working with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials
