Position Details:

• Schedule: Flexible 8 hour days

• NP must independently manage complex pre-op assessments, including chart reviews, ordering labs, EKGs and clearances
• Strongly Preffered: Cardiac background
• Preffered: Background in surgery, some cardiac knowledge, EKG's

Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care including Childrens at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. Memorial Hospital Shiloh, a 94-bed, all-private suite hospital was recognized with Magnet status in 2018 and provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services plus critical care.

Role Purpose

Utilizes a high degree of knowledge, skill and competence in specialized patient care area. Assesses, diagnose, initiates plan of care and evaluates outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manages the health care of select patient populations through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
• Participates in professional development
• Assesses development needs of staff and develops and delivers appropriate educational programs to meet staff needs.
• Coordinates the care of select patient populations to ensure promotion of health and wellness through education of patients and families, coordination of services and placing referrals.
• Develops treatment plans, treats patients with acute problems including illnesses and minor injuries following a predetermined protocol.

Education

• Master's Degree
- Nursing(Accredited NP Program)
