TeamHealth is seeking a full-time internal medicine-trained nocturnist to join our well-established hospital medicine team at Hendrick Medical Center South in Abilene, Texas. Enjoy an attractive 7-on/7-off block schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.
Practice Highlights
- 231-bed acute care hospital
- 20-bed open ICU
- 5 MDs 7am-7pm
- 1 APC 7am-7pm
- 1 APC 1pm-1am
- 1 MD 7pm-7am
- EMR: Allscripts

Clinical Responsibilities
As a nocturnist, you will...
- Manage overnight admissions
- Respond to rapid response events and code situations
- Serve as a primary admitting physician for the ICU
- Round on ICU patients as needed
- Average 6-10 admissions per night
