Arrowhead Talent Solutions is helping a large Christian, non-profit organization fill an experienced Human Resource Manager role (onsite). This person will lead day-to-day HR programs and serve as a trusted leader throughout their organization by providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employee development, while helping strengthen leadership capabilities and workplace culture.


This is a Christian organization with a faith-based mission and workplace culture. Candidates must be comfortable working in and supporting a Christian environment and aligning with the organization's ministry-focused mission.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers and leaders on employee relations, performance management, coaching, corrective action, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
  • Oversee and continuously improve core HR programs, including employee relations, leave and benefits administration, performance management, engagement, and onboarding.
  • Conduct and support employee investigations and workplace issue resolution while ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant practices.
  • Develop and communicate HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support organizational goals.
  • Partner with HR leadership on workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, leadership development, and retention.
  • Support recruiting, job design, selection, and onboarding efforts.
  • Monitor employment law compliance and identify potential risks or opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead HR projects, process improvements, and initiatives that improve efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support on complex employee matters.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5–7 years HR experience, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and leadership consultation.
  • Experience leading projects, process improvements, KPIs, or organizational initiatives with measurable results.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 12 months.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a Christian, ministry-focused organizational environment.
