Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for obtaining sales through contacting current customers and potential prospects through cold calling and emails. A good ISR is familiar with and understands the language of sales. Those equip for this role also are excellent active listeners, and are motivated to understand the products/services being sold. Solid communication skills and time management are a must.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential prospects
- Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Sales executives
- Report to the sales Manager on sales results
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing and social outreach.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience working with a CRM
- Sound understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
