Job Overview
Reports to: Shift Supervisor
Location: Lynwood, CA
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Swing Shift - 10am to 6:30pm
Job Description
Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes
Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blueprints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete and precise records of inspection
Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to use
Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality
Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures
Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators
Conduct internal audits as required
Suggest new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system
Perform other tasks as assigned

Physical Demands
Must be able to consistently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 5075 lbs. This is a physically active job that requires average vision and must be able to wear PPE.
Education
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (required)
Experience
1+ year of experience in Inspection

Compensation Range $18.00 to $20.94 per hour (DOE)
