Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Internal Medicine Physician, you will specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases, serving as a primary care provider and managing both common illnesses and complex, chronic medical conditions.

Every day you will diagnose and treat acute and chronic adult diseases, perform preventive care, interpret diagnostic tests, and coordinate complex medical scenarios. You will educate patients and families, all while leveraging our comprehensive resources to focus on high-quality patient care.

To be successful, you will be a board-certified (or eligible) Internist with a deep understanding of adult health and strong diagnostic capabilities. You will possess excellent communication skills to explain complex medical conditions, committed to continuous patient care and ethical practice.

  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases using patient history, symptoms, and test results.
  • Provide preventive care, including physical examinations, lifestyle recommendations, and immunizations.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (bloodwork, X-rays, EKGs).
  • Coordinate care for complex medical scenarios, referring to subspecialists as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, health maintenance, and medication regimens.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient medical records.
  • Adhere to AMA medical ethics and relevant specialty board standards.
  • Leverage Physician Group resources to optimize operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

Required

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration;
  • Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
  • Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
  • Doctorate MD or DO required
  • DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required
