Salary Range $17.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift 1st shift (days)
Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type and value of finished goods inventory warehoused in the Distribution Center, makes sure inventory is accurate, allocates customer orders, maintains a balanced pick, research shipping errors, and creates replenishment assignments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including other duties as required):
- Complete required training and acquire skill set to operate a stand-up forklift to pull replenishments and help with put-away.
- Supports other DC areas to facilitate customer order processing, including but not limited to replenishment, receiving, shipping, full case picking and slotting.
- Runs a report hourly to identify any allocation issues with customer orders, resolves the issues.
- Does stock adjustments as necessary to correct inventory.
- Research shipping errors, including but not limited to, counting the picks, checking bulk cases for vendor errors, and using Smart Office to look at history of product.
- Research variances found by cycle count.
Skills/Qualifications/Education/Licenses & Certifications:
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Teamwork: Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift operator license issued by Momentec Brands following the completion of scheduled training and passing both a written and a driving test.
- Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of prior forklift experience.
- Computer skills: Ability to utilize a computer to complete assignments. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to distinguish color and shades.
- Frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Work Hours:
- Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
- Some weekends may be requested during busy seasons.
