K-12 Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a partner school, providing small-group and one-on-one tutoring, mentoring, and classroom support. You will collaborate with teachers to reinforce lessons, track student progress, and create a positive, inclusive learning environment. In this role, you’ll foster students’ social-emotional skills, promote engagement, and encourage consistent attendance.
