K-12 Academic Tutor and Youth Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will support students’ academic and social-emotional growth in partnership with public schools. Serving full-time on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, support classroom instruction, and help track student progress. You’ll build positive relationships, model leadership, and contribute to an inclusive, equity-focused school climate. City Year offers structured training, coaching, and professional development in education, youth development, and teamwork, preparing you for future roles in teaching, social impact, or related careers.
