What the role is about:
We areseekingan experiencedLeadBudtenderto join our growing and talented team! The LeadBudtenderis responsible for working alongside thedispensaryteam in a retail environmentthat serves both medical patients andadult usecustomers. This position reports to theGeneral Manager (GM).
What impact youll make:
- Participates in helping develop policies and processrelatedto regulations,products,systems, and dispensary operations
- Helps promoteand supportcompany best practicesacross all dispensary locations
- Identifies and trains preceptors at thedispensaryto help facilitateconsistenttraining across all locations
- Facilitates necessary changes incustomer-facingcommunicationin partnership with the GM,Retail Operations Managerand the Marketing team
- Trains newly hiredBudtenders on dispensarypolicies,procedures,and the use of cannabis-basedproducts
- Records notes when requested in any team meeting and can lead and conduct meetings when requested
- Assists with developing and implementing streamlined communicationtoalldispensarystaff
- Plays an active role in developing andsustainingcustomer education and support initiatives
- Helps enforceand support all Budtender staff onprocessesand procedures,including cleaning and sanitationstandards
- Represents thebartender asa Green Goods RoleModel displaying thecompany core values
- Participates in company initiatives to achieve set goals and performance indicators; contributes to teamsuccessby accomplishing related results as needed
- Assists with the incoming orders, shipments, and deliveriesof supplies
- Serve asa solution-focused leaderby identifying opportunitiesto improve company goals,directives, and operational performance
- Complete other tasks/projects as assigned
- Work effectivelywith leadership tobalance responsibilitiesbetweenBudtender and Lead Budtenderduties, including:
- Serving in a Budtender role while remaining responsible for Lead Budtender duties
- Transitioninginto aBudtenderrole when scheduled as a LeadBudtenderbased on business need
- Supporting operationalneeds at anydispensarylocation
- Required to fill job descriptions set forth as aBudtender
- Follows all process and regulationsrelated todispensingcannabis productsto customers
- Followsall implantedSOPs
- Assists customers with all aspects of preparing, setting up, and finalizing the dispensation processcannabis productsin compliance with applicable regulations maintainedby theOffice of Cannabis Management
- Completesdispensaryoperational requirements by maintaining an organized workflow; verifying preparation and labelingofproducts, verifying order entries and charges
- Flexible availability including but not limited to weekends and evenings
What youve accomplished:
- A high school diploma and 1-3years experiencein a retail environment
- 1-2 years of direct management experience preferred
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Proficiency with MS Office required
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to communicate effectively with patients, families, and co-workers
- Ability to meet assigned deadlineswhile maintaining attention to detail
- Prompt attendance to shifts and responsible time management
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
- A lifelong learner willing to stay on top of the constant changes of the cannabis industry
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change
- Ability to understand, support, and implement community and organizational policies/procedures, along with government regulations
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and grow with position/company
- Ability to analyze information and implement quality control
- Acts ethically andappliesgood judgment
