Overview: Lead Physicist, FT, Piedmont Columbus John B. Amos Cancer Center Provides physics services related to the planning and delivery of therapeutic radiation treatment in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist's prescription. Provides technical leadership including clinical set-up expertise to radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and therapists. Performs quality assurance checks according to regulatory requirements and industry standards for all department equipment. Serves as a mentor and team lead for staff medical physicists. Reports to the Manager for Radiation Physics. Responsibilities: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Masters of Science in Medical Physics, or related discipline.
