Key Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Under minimal supervision, performs varied and complex tasks.
• Orients, trains, assigns, and checks the work of other employees.
• Ability to help motivate and encourage employees to reach their goals.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with employees and supervisor.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of production procedures.
• Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bill of materials, and reports.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues and refers to higher levels.
• Understands and adheres to the company quality standards.
• May assumes supervisor/manager's duties in their absence.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred

Physical demands and abilities:

• Able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Able to stand for entire shift
• Regularly performs repetitive tasks
• Possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
