Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under minimal supervision, performs varied and complex tasks.
- Orients, trains, assigns, and checks the work of other employees.
- Ability to help motivate and encourage employees to reach their goals.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with employees and supervisor.
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Knowledge of production procedures.
- Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bill of materials, and reports.
- Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues and refers to higher levels.
- Understands and adheres to the company quality standards.
- May assumes supervisor/manager's duties in their absence.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of leadership experience preferred
Physical demands and abilities:
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Able to stand for entire shift
- Regularly performs repetitive tasks
- Possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
