Legal Administrative Specialist (Case Manager)

If selected for this position, you will serve as a Case Manager providing a wide range of legal and administrative services to one or more Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) involved in a variety civil matters for the United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of Ohio. Typical duties include:
- Preparing and managing discovery in a variety of formats.
- Provides a range of case development and support activities during the investigative, pre-trial, and trial phases of civil cases.
- Prepares subpoenas, witness lists/schedules, assembles and maintains exhibit lists and binders.
- Prepares exhibits and demonstratives for use in legal proceedings.
- Provides general administrative support for assigned cases. This includes, but is not limited to entering information into case management systems; maintaining calendar of assigned active cases; and managing case-related documents.
- Conducts factual research and non-complex research of legislation, statutes, regulations, and court cases.
- Drafts routine motions, pretrial filings, summonses, subpoenas, satisfactions of judgements, and other routine legal documents.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
