Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic

The Staff Pad has partnered with a respected healthcare organization in Hamilton, Texas, to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for an exciting opportunity within their clinic team.

In this role you will provide high-quality nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional while supporting safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Document patient observations, responses, and provider orders accurately in the medical record
  
• Safely assist patients to and from the waiting area
  
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures by obtaining vital signs and health information
  
• Assist with surgical procedures in clinic and hospital settings
  
• Administer medications per protocol and provider orders; document appropriately
  
• Collect specimens and perform CLIA-waived blood and urine testing
  
• Process prescription refills and communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers
  
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and appropriate supply inventory
  
• Manage formulary and sample inventories, including monthly reviews and disposal of expired samples
  
• Follow infection control standards, maintain required licensure & continuing education
  
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow organizational policy
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  

What We Are Looking For 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license and CPR certification
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• LVN training required; previous clinical experience preferred
  
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed
