About the Role

As an LVN with Redwood, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the health and daily living needs of residents. You will administer medications, monitor medical conditions, advocate for individuals, and ensure their overall safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and follow the Five Rights for accuracy
• Attend medical appointments and communicate updates with physicians
• Support daily living activities (bathing, grooming, meals, etc.)
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and breathing treatments
• Audit medications for accuracy during each cycle
• Perform g-tube feedings, colostomy care, and IM injections
• Administer insulin for individuals with diabetes
• Assess behavior changes, seizures, and medical conditions
• Provide redirection and support during behavioral episodes
• Document daily notes and report unusual behaviors/injuries
• Conduct physical assessments and monitor vital signs
• Participate in community outings (beach trips, hiking, etc.)
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities
• Current LVN License (Required)
• First Aid, CPR & CPI certifications (Required)
• Must be 21+ years old
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check

Shift Availability

• AM & PM shifts available

Work Location

• One location – Stockton, CA
