Sargent is a new American Brasserie opening in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward and the sister restaurant to Lucian Books & Wine. Rooted in great food, wine, art, and hospitality, Sargent will feature French and American classics, an expansive wine program, a full cocktail bar, and a thoughtfully curated collection of books and magazines.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items with consistency, accuracy, and efficiency while maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and organization. This is a hands-on role focused on strong station execution and supporting a smooth, well-run service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, stock, and maintain a clean and organized station throughout service
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and quality standards
• Execute dishes with proper timing, consistency, and attention to detail
• Follow food safety, sanitation, labeling, storage, and FIFO standards
• Communicate with chefs and kitchen team members to support smooth service and flag quality or product issues
• Assist with prep, opening and closing duties, and support other stations as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years of professional kitchen experience preferred
• Working knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
• Ability to follow recipes and direction while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, detail-oriented, professional, and team-focused
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
