POSITION: Litigation Attorney (National Law Firm)

LOCATION: Garden City, NY (Hybrid)

COMPENSATION: Base salary up to $200k, bonus eligibility, comprehensive benefits, and 401(k).

The firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Garden City team and manage a broad range of matters from inception through resolution. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with accomplished attorneys and clients, take ownership of your matters, and play an active role in developing litigation strategy.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and communication skills, sound legal judgment, and the ability to independently manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Healthcare litigation experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities for Litigation Attorney:

• Manage a broad range of litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft, prepare, and review pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis and apply findings to support litigation strategy and case development
• Develop and implement litigation strategies in collaboration with attorneys and clients
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties throughout the litigation process
• Monitor case deadlines, manage multiple matters, and ensure timely completion of litigation-related tasks
• Participate in negotiations, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings

Qualifications for Litigation Attorney:

• J.D. from an accredited law school required
• Admission to the New York Bar required; New Jersey and/or Connecticut Bar a plus
• 6+ years of litigation experience
• Healthcare litigation experience is a plus
• Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
