We are currently seeking Load Builders to work the swing shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) at our Woodland facility.

The Load Builder performs routine loading and unloading of materials within the yard and warehouse; assembles load packages onto trucks for delivery to customer job sites. Works safely at all times.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reads and correctly pulls material listed on pick tickets.

Loads and unloads materials for delivery.

Operates and maintains forklift and other equipment safely.

Identifies and locates the various types of materials carried in the yard and warehouse.

Ensures that all materials are safely secured for delivery.

Accuracy in pulling product and building loads.

Counts and checks the quality and condition of all outgoing products.

Keeps outside yard clean and secure.

Attends safety meetings regularly.

Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Walking: 6-8+ hours per day

Standing: 6-8+ hours per day

Bending/Twisting: 3-6 hours per day

Squatting/Stooping: 3-6 hours per day

Climbing: Up to 3 hours per day

Kneeling/Crawling: 3-6 hours per day

Pushing/Pulling: 3-6 hours per day

Hand Dexterity: 6-8+ hours per day

Lifting 0-25 lbs.: 3-6+ hours per day

Lifting 26-60 lbs.: 3-6 hours per day

Carrying 0-25 lbs.: 3-6 hours per day

Carrying 26-60 lbs.: 3-6 hours per day

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

2?years forklift experience

Basic math skills

Ability to use basic hand tools

Manual dexterity
