TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver for a local opportunity in Tacoma, WA. This position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to join a growing operation with the potential for temp to hire opportunity.

Position Details

• Pay: $30.00 per hour
  
• Schedule: MondayFriday with occasional Saturdays
  
• Start Time: 7:00 AM
  
• Average 5060 hours per week
  
• Local routes Home Daily
  
• Assignment expected to last 23 months with potential for extension and possible temp-to-hire opportunity

• Automatic Transmission
  

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies
  
• Transport containers between warehouse and storage locations
  
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  
• Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation
  
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and operations personnel
  
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
  

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
  
• Clean MVR and safety record
  
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
  
• Recent tractor-trailer driving experience
  
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  
• Ability to work overtime as needed
