About the Opportunity Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to join our elite team fueling locomotives. This position offers consistent, full-time hours, weekly pay, and year-round stability — no weather or seasonal slowdowns. You’ll be paid for a full 12-hour shift — including breaks, lunch, and dispatch wait time — providing income you can count on. - Home daily
- Night shift schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM with Thursday, Friday and Saturday off every 3rd week
- 60-hour workweeks (every 3rd week is 48 hours)
- Overtime pay after 40 hours
- Manual transmission tractor with tanker (10-speed)
- Operate as a mobile fueling station for the railroad, hauling and delivering fuel using a tractor-trailer tanker
- Work on an on-call basis during your shift — paid for the full 12 hours regardless of the number of dispatches
- CDL Class A with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
- Manual transmission experience – no automatic restrictions
- Tractor-trailer driving experience (Hazmat hauling experience not required)
- Ability to pass DOT and company background checks
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Strong communication and time-management skills

- Able to consistently bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on and off elevated surfaces
- May have to walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces
- Able to climb in and out of a truck cab multiple times per shift and climb a ladder or steps 10 or more times per day
- Able to drive and work outside in adverse weather conditions
- Willing to work with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
