Locum Invasive Cardiologist Physician needed in Louisiana

Locum Cardiologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Port Allen, LA. LA license preferred.

• Monday-Friday, weekly, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Call Type: Beeper.
• Looking for providers interested in full time work Minimum 3 weeks per month. Non-Invasive cardiology needs Clinic 5 days a week, they will have a panel of patients to follow.
• Physician will need to hold active supervising license and be added as a locum tenens supervising physician for the Physician Assistants Would like a long term commitment.
• Hospital rotation every 5-6 weeks.
• Responsibilities: Inpatient care and rounding, Consultations, Multidisciplinary rounds, Communication with referring providers, Reading all hospital diagnostic studies during the service week.
• Each cardiologist has one weekly clinic reading day.
• When on hospital service: Their clinic reading day is reassigned to another cardiologist.
• Responsibilities include: On-site visits, Reviewing diagnostic studies ordered at those clinics, Follow-up communication with patients, Care coordination with imaging/testing teams.
• Required Specialty Skills: Outpatient - Cardiology, ICU, Non-invasive, Echocardiography, TEE (Transesophageal Echo), Nuclear Cardiology (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.), STEMI.
• Fellowship: Required.
• Required Certifications: ACLS.
• Board Certified.
• Licensed in LA or IMLC.
• EMR: Epic.
• Will cross-credential between 4 locations.
• Credentialing: 120 days.
• $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
• $Competitive Rate weeknight call Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day Premium When Called In.
