About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Neonatal NP in West Virginia!

We are seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for an 84-day assignment with our client in West Virginia, starting Sep 1, 2026. This full-time role involves a Monday through Sunday schedule with both day and call coverage, typically from 7:30 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will manage 8-10 patients daily, hold night call responsibilities, and provide expert care within a children's hospital neonatal intensive care unit.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a full-time schedule Monday through Sunday with day and call coverage
  • Manage 8 – 10 patients per day with night call responsibilities
  • Provide care within a children's hospital setting with a neonatal intensive care unit
  • Perform advanced procedures including chest tubes, umbilical lines, and lumbar punctures
  • Provide respiratory management and arterial line placement
  • Execute paracentesis and thoracentesis
  • Interpret EKGs and perform central line placement
