Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Pennsylvania - No Call

Seeking a skilled Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a compelling locums assignment in Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity to provide essential coverage with no on-call responsibilities, offering an ideal work-life balance for a dedicated provider.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Urgent Care clinic
• See patients of all ages, from pediatrics to adults
• This interim coverage is needed to support team growth

Schedule

• A minimum of only 12 shifts per month is required
• Full-time preferred, offering a consistent block of shifts
• Coverage is needed seven days a week

Procedures and Cases

• Manage common cases like cold/flu symptoms, rashes, and abrasions
• Treat minor injuries including lacerations, sprains, and burns
• Must be comfortable performing orthopedic procedures like splinting
• Wound care and repair experience is necessary

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care, family, or internal medicine/pediatrics
• Must hold an active Pennsylvania state license

Credentialing Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications
• Please allow approximately 90 days for credentialing
