• Case Mix: General Surgery, Obstetrics (including TOLAC), Pediatrics (ENT), Endoscopy/Conscious Sedation

• No. of Beds in Department: 13 Operating Rooms
• Trauma Level: Level III
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff Available: 2 CRNAs, RNs

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• General Anesthesia
• Obstetric Anesthesia (including TOLAC)
• Pediatric Anesthesia (healthy children, ENT)
• Conscious Sedation

• Board: Board Certified in Anesthesiology (BC required, no BE)
• Licenses: Active Iowa license or Universal License (IMLC) (must upload LOQ)
• Certifications: ACLS (can obtain during credentialing)
• Other Qualifications: Must be available for at least 2 weeks per month; Must be available for weeks of Nov 23 and Dec 21, 2026; Clean malpractice/background; COVID-19 vaccination

• Evaluate and monitor patient care before and during surgery
• Administer general anesthesia, conscious sedation, and regional anesthesia as needed
• Provide obstetric anesthesia, including TOLAC
• Manage pediatric anesthesia for ENT and other healthy pediatric cases
• Collaborate with CRNAs and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
