This hospital in Southern Kentucky provides comprehensive cardiovascular services with established protocols for effective patient care delivery. The facility maintains modern cardiac diagnostic capabilities and utilizes EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination. The institution offers temporary privileges and emergency privileges to ensure timely coverage for urgent cardiovascular needs.

Kentucky offers diverse attractions including the Louisville Mega Cavern, Red River Gorge, and Kentucky Horse Park, along with numerous state parks and natural cave systems. Visitors can experience bourbon tours, horse farm tours, and historic sites related to the Underground Railroad. The area features notable venues such as Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Exposition Center, providing opportunities for both outdoor recreation and cultural experiences.

The cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care through inpatient rounding from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with night call and weekend call responsibilities. Daily responsibilities include managing general cardiology consultations for hospitalized patients and clinic patients requiring specialized cardiovascular care. Documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment coordination.
