Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Louisiana-licensed Emergency Medicine physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. This role supports Emergency Department coverage in a critical access hospital setting with access to advanced diagnostic services.

• Annual Volume: 19,000 ED visits

Clinical Scope

• Full-spectrum Emergency Medicine evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition
• Manage acute medical and traumatic presentations
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
• Document care using Ochsner EPIC

Practice Environment

• Critical access hospital Emergency Department coverage
• Access to diagnostic services including CT scan, ICU, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound

Schedule Details

• Ongoing Emergency Department coverage

Requirements

• Active Louisiana medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• DEA registration (LA)
• Controlled Substance registration (CS)
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required if not Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent or ongoing Emergency Medicine experience
