Clinical Scope
Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of acute medical and traumatic presentations in a high-volume emergency department. Management of diverse patient populations, including trauma cases, with collaboration from multidisciplinary teams. Documentation and order entry within Epic EMR.

Practice Environment
This opportunity is based within a 495-bed regional referral hospital in Winchester, Virginia, supporting a Level I trauma center. Providers will work in Epic EMR, managing a broad spectrum of emergency cases in a busy, high-acuity environment.

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• ABEM certification or eligibility
• Active Virginia medical license
• Active DEA license with Virginia address
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
• Recent or ongoing emergency medicine experience preferred
